About Me

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at Spelman College. As an applied microeconomist, my research spans health and labor economics, focusing on how policy, social status, and economic shocks shape health outcomes. 

In May 2023, I earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. I also have a M.A. degree in Economics from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a B.B.A. in Economics at Mississippi State University.
